NIT-T inks MoU with SRLDC

The National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi, on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding with Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre (SRLDC), Bangalore, of the Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO) for strengthening industry-academia interplay.

The MoU was signed by Mini Shaji Thomas, Director, NIT-T, and J.Jerome Amirtharaj, Assistant Manager (HR), POSOCO, within the presence of S. Muthukumaran, Dean (Research and Consultancy), and different college members of NIT-T.

The MoU would supply alternatives to school members and college students to realize hands-on expertise working within the space of energy engineering, stated Ms. Thomas.

The broad goal of the MoU was to encourage analysis on points associated to Indian energy sector, design programs as a part of industrial expertise sharing, information sharing, joint analysis and growth initiatives and joint publications of analysis papers between SRLDC and NITT primarily based on an non-disclosure settlement and different actions. The MoU could be legitimate for 3 years.
