Puducherry Education Minister A. Namassivayam on Sunday introduced that the reopening of faculties, each authorities and privately managed, has been put off in view of incessant rains in the Union (*8*).
He stated in a launch after holding discussions with the officers of Department of Education that the incessant rains is the fast motive to put off the date of reopening of faculties for Classes 1 to 8. The authorities would quickly announce the recent date to reopen the colleges for these classes.
Namassivayam stated vacation has been declared for Classes 9 to 12 on November 8 and 9.
The authorities had introduced just a few days in the past that each one faculties would resume classes for college students of 1 to 8 tomorrow. But the incessant rain has necessitated the postponement of the reopening date.
